Orlando Vacation Homes Condotel (condo hotels) are the easiest type of vacation home to own and often the best choice for first time vacation home buyers or owners that just don't want to deal with the operation of their vacation property. Condotels are essentially condo units that are either in a hotel or in a resort operated like a hotel where the in house management of the resort handles everything related to your unit. You simply tell them when you want to use the unit and cash the income checks.
Condotel units don't make as munch money as a condo, townhome or home operated by a 3rd party management company could make, but they tend to be a less risky option and involve no effort on the owners part.
Each condotel has different policies, procedures, revenue splits and amount of time an owner may use their unit in a given time period. Some Condotels allow you to self manage or use a 3rd party management company but almost always have restrictions you must follow.
