  Can You Rent a Festival Resort Townhome on Airbnb or Vrbo?

Yes. Festival allows short-term rentals, so owners can rent to vacationers by the night or week through Airbnb, Vrbo or a management company. A short-term rental, or STR, is a home rented to vacationers instead of on a long-term lease. Many Orlando-area neighborhoods do not allow it; Festival does.

Most buyers use their townhome for a family trip or two each year and rent it the rest of the time to help cover HOA and ownership costs.

  What Are Festival Resort Homes Like?

Festival was built in phases from 2015 to 2024 by two builders, Minto and Ashton Woods. Most homes are two-story townhomes with 3 to 5 bedrooms and about 1,500 to 2,340 square feet, and a few single-family homes are mixed in. Ashton Woods townhomes have an attached garage, and some townhomes have a private plunge pool. Exteriors are Key West style.
