  Can You Rent a Regal Palms Townhome on Airbnb or Vrbo?

Yes. Regal Palms allows short-term rentals, and its townhomes are rented by the night or week to vacationers. Owners can use the resort's in-house rental program, list on Airbnb or Vrbo, or hire a 3rd-party manager. A short-term rental, or STR, is a home rented to travelers for short stays rather than on a long-term lease. Many Central Florida neighborhoods do not allow it; Regal Palms does.

Most buyers use their townhome for a family holiday or two each year and rent it the rest of the time to help cover ownership costs.

Regal Palms townhomes were built between 2004 and 2007 in Florida and Mediterranean styles. They are two-story 3- and 4-bedroom homes of about 1,420 to 1,860 square feet, most with 3 or 4 bathrooms. Each has a full kitchen, a full-size washer and dryer and a private balcony or patio, and the master suite typically has its own bathroom. Some buildings, such as the Villas at Regal Palms, are held as condominium units even though the homes are townhome style.
