Encantada Resort is a gated community of 2- to 4-bedroom vacation townhomes – holiday homes, in UK terms – in Kissimmee, about 4 miles from Walt Disney World, where short-term rentals (STR) are allowed. Every townhome has a private hot tub or splash pool on its screened patio, and owners can use their home as much as they like and rent it nightly the rest of the year. Can You Rent an Encantada Townhome on Airbnb or Vrbo?
Yes. Encantada was built as a vacation-rental resort, so owners can rent to vacationers by the night or week through the on-site rental program, a management company, or sites like Airbnb and Vrbo. A short-term rental, or STR, is a home rented to vacationers instead of on a long-term lease. Many Orlando-area neighborhoods do not allow it; Encantada does.
Most buyers use their townhome for a family trip or two each year and rent it the rest of the time to help cover HOA and ownership costs. The private patio hot tub or splash pool is a strong selling point on rental sites.
