  Can You Rent a Grove Resort Condo on Airbnb or Vrbo?

Yes. The Grove is a condo-hotel, so nightly short-term rentals are what it was built for. Owners can place their unit in the on-site rental program, which handles bookings like a hotel, or rent it through Airbnb, Vrbo or a 3rd-party manager. A short-term rental, or STR, is simply a home rented to vacationers by the night or week rather than on a long-term lease. Many Orlando-area neighborhoods do not allow it; the Grove does.

Most Grove buyers use their condo for a family trip or two each year and rent it the rest of the time to help cover ownership costs, including the HOA fee.

Grove condos are 2- and 3-bedroom suites in mid-rise buildings with elevators, built in phases beginning in 2008. Each comes furnished, with a full kitchen, separate living and dining areas, a full-size washer and dryer and a screened balcony. A 2-bedroom suite sleeps up to 6 guests and a 3-bedroom sleeps up to 8. Parking is on the same level as your unit, so there is no hauling luggage through the lobby.
